Spice up sausage rolls with the flavours of Mexico.
Ingredients
- 600g lean beef mince
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 375g jar medium Mexican salsa
- 4 sheets frozen ready-rolled puff pastry
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
Method
- Step 1Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Combine mince, coriander and 3/4 cup salsa in a bowl. Cut each pastry sheet in half. Spoon 1/3 cup of mixture along 1 long side of 1 pastry sheet. Brush opposite edge with egg. Roll up pastry to enclose filling. Cut into quarters. Place, seam-side down, on prepared trays. Repeat with remaining pastry, mince mixture and egg. Brush roll tops with remaining egg.
- Step 2Bake for 25 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Serve with remaining salsa.
