Even if you’re brand new to cooking, you will be able to make these super-easy tartlets.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet (25 x 25cm) reduced-fat puff pastry, just thawed
- 250g strawberries, hulled, washed, halved lengthways
- 5g butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 4 scoops light vanilla ice-cream
Method
- Step 1Preheat oven to 210C. Cut the pastry sheet into quarters and place on a baking tray.
- Step 2Arrange strawberries evenly over pastry squares, leaving a 2cm border around the edges. Fold in pastry corners to meet in the centre. Brush lightly with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.
- Step 3Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until pastry is golden around the edges and strawberries soften slightly. Remove from oven.
- Step 4Place tarts on serving plates. Serve with ice-cream.
