Ingredients

15-ounce can low-sodium or no salt added chickpeas

tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce or tamari

tablespoons tahini

tablespoon maple syrup

teaspoon smoked paprika or paprika

teaspoon liquid smoke

clove garlic, minced
Directions
- Place all ingredients into food processor and blend for 30 seconds. Stop and scrape down sides and bottom of container. Blend for another 30 seconds or until smooth.
- If it’s too thick, add 1 Tbsp. of water at a time until you get desired consistency.
- Eat with sliced veggies, crackers, or toasted whole grain bread.
