Start off your feast with simple homemade garlic bread.
Ingredients
- 250ml (1 cup) olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 500g crusty sourdough French bread stick (baguette), sliced diagonally (see note)
Method
- Step 1Place the oil, garlic and rosemary in a shallow dish.
- Step 2Preheat a chargrill on medium. Dip a few pieces of bread in oil mixture to coat 1 side. Place, oil-side down, on grill. Cook for 2 minutes or until charred. Turn and cook for 1 minute or until heated through. Transfer to a serving bowl. Continue, in batches, with remaining oil and bread.
