If those drinks you’re holding are no great shakes, try this udderly delicious recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 cups reduced-fat milk
- 4 scoops vanilla ice-cream
- 2/3 cup chocolate topping
- 2 tablespoons strawberry topping
- Red food colouring (optional)
- 2 tablespoons mini marshmallows
- 2 teaspoons granulated nuts
Method
- Step 1Blend half the milk, half the ice-cream and half the chocolate topping until smooth. Pour into a 7cm-deep, 11cm x 17cm (base) plastic container. Cover. Repeat with strawberry topping and remaining milk and ice-cream. Tint pink with food colouring, if using. Pour into a separate 7cm-deep, 11cm x 17cm (base) plastic container. Cover. Freeze mixtures for 4 hours or until partially frozen.
- Step 2Remove from freezer. Stir each mixture until smooth and thick. Drizzle 1 tablespoon chocolate topping around the inside of each of 4 chilled glasses. Spoon ice-cream mixtures into glasses. Top each with one-quarter of the marshmallows and nuts. Serve.
