Make it easy on yourself with this six-ingredient pasta main in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients
- 375g dried large spiral pasta
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 25g butter, finely chopped
- 4 green onions, finely chopped
- 150g sliced leg ham, chopped
- 200g fresh ricotta cheese, crumbled
Method
- Step 1Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water, following packet directions, until tender, adding peas for last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup cooking liquid.
- Step 2Return pasta and peas to pan. Add butter, onion, ham, reserved liquid and ricotta. Toss until butter has melted and pasta mixture is combined. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
