Ingredients
- 375g dried tagliatelle pasta
- 125g butter, chopped
- 1/3 cup fresh sage leaves
- 2 bunches asparagus, sliced
- pinch ground nutmeg
- shaved parmesan cheese, to serve
Method
- Step 1Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water, following packet directions, until tender. Drain. Cover to keep warm.
- Step 2Melt butter in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add sage. Cook for 2 minutes or until crisp. Transfer sage to a plate lined with paper towel. Add asparagus to pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes or until just tender. Add nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper.
- Step 3Add pasta and sage to asparagus. Toss to combine. Serve with parmesan.
