Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 3 cups (750ml) thickened cream
- 5 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons caster sugar
Method
- Step 1Preheat oven to 160°C. Place 200g dark chocolate, finely chopped in a heatproof bowl. Bring 3 cups (750ml) thickened cream to the boil. Pour over chocolate and set aside for 5 minutes until melted and smooth.
- Step 2Whisk 5 egg yolks and 2 tablespoons caster sugar until thick and pale. Pour over hot chocolate cream and stir until combined. Pour into a saucepan and stir over a low heat for 10-15 minutes or until coats the back of a spoon.
- Step 3Pour into 6 x 1/2 cup (125m) ovenproof dishes or cups. Place in a roasting pan and pour hot water till halfway up sides. Bake 15-20 minutes or until set. Let cool slightly then refrigerate overnight.
