Author Notes: Nothing more refreshing on a hot day then a nice glass of ice tea. I personally love iced mint tea so I combined both fresh mint and a jasmine tea. Delicious. —Nicole Franzen

Ingredients
-
2
bags of jasmine tea
-
1
bunch mint
-
1/4
cup sugar
-
ice cubes
-
water 😛
Directions
- Boil water, pour boiling water over tea bags. Either in a glass jug or bowl. I only let steep for about a minute. If you leave it too long it becomes bitter and tanic quick. It’s not like black tea which I would steep for longer.
- Stir in 1/4 cup of sugar. Add more or less based on your tastes. Set aside and let cool, when cool add fresh sprigs of mint. If you add the mint when the water is hot the mint turns brown. It adds a nice refreshing taste. Once cooled pour over ice. Yum.
