Pork and apples are a match made in heaven.
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 4 pork cutlets
- 50g butter
- 3 golden delicious apples, cut into 5mm slices
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- steamed jasmine rice, to serve
- steamed carrots, to serve
Method
- Step 1Heat oil in a large non-stick frypan over medium-high heat. Add cutlets, cook 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove from heat. Keep warm.
- Step 2Reduce heat and add butter to pan. Saut apple slices and rosemary for 4 to 5 minutes, tossing. Remove to a plate with pork chops. Stir honey and lemon juice into frypan. Cook for 30 seconds.
- Step 3Place chops and apples on serving plates. Spoon over lemon and honey sauce. Serve with rice and carrots.
