Enjoy a lazy meal in the sun with a simple, indulgent dish that will leave you with sticky fingers and a smile.
Ingredients
- 1.5kg chicken wing drumettes
- 1/4 cup kecap manis
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 lime, juiced
- 2cm piece ginger, peeled, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
Method
- Step 1Place chicken in large ceramic baking dish. Whisk kecap manis, honey, 2 tablespoons juice, ginger and garlic in a jug. Pour over chicken. Turn to coat. Season with pepper. Cover and refrigerate until ready to cook.
- Step 2Preheat oven to 220°C. Drain marinade. Bake chicken for 1 hour 15 minutes or until crisp and cooked through. Serve.
