Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons Chinese cooking wine (see note)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon MasterFoods® Chinese Five Spice
- 500g pork fillets, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed, halved
- 4 green onions, cut into 3cm lengths
- 1 medium red capsicum, thinly sliced
- 100g cup mushrooms, sliced
- 440g packet shelf-stable thin hokkien noodles
Method
- Step 1Combine garlic, hoisin, wine, soy sauce, sugar and five spice in a glass or ceramic bowl. Add pork. Toss to coat. Cover. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, if time permits. Drain pork, reserving marinade.
- Step 2Heat a wok over medium-high heat. Add half the oil. Swirl to coat. Stir-fry pork, in batches, for 2 to 3 minutes or until browned. Transfer to a bowl.
- Step 3Heat remaining oil in wok. Swirl to coat. Add broccolini, onion, capsicum and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until broccolini is bright green and tender. Return pork and juices to wok. Add reserved marinade and noodles. Stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes or until marinade boils. Serve.
