Ingredients
- 1 green onion
- 1 large avocado, halved
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
- Step 1Using kitchen scissors, cut onion into thin slices.
- Step 2Place avocado in a bowl. Mash with a fork until smooth. Stir in lemon juice and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.

Notes
Tip: To store, cover surface of guacamole with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 1 day.
Cooking class: Mashing avocado: Using a fork or a potato masher, mash avocado until smooth. Lemon juice is not only important for taste in guacamole, but also stops the avocado going brown.
