One of Italy’s greatest gifts to the world, pizza is the ultimate family food for eating and making.
Ingredients
- 1 quantity Basic pizza dough (see related recipe)
- 1 quantity Classic pizza sauce (see related recipe)
Topping
- 24 green prawns, peeled leaving tails intact
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
- 1 large garlic clove, crushed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 chorizo sausages, thinly sliced
- 160g fresh ricotta, crumbled
Method
- Step 1Make pizza basic pizza dough.
- Step 2Make classic pizza sauce.
- Step 3Preheat oven to 230ºC. Combine prawns, coriander, garlic and olive oil in a bowl. Top the pizzas with the prawn mixture, chorizo sausages and ricotta. Bake, swapping the trays halfway through cooking, for 15-20 minutes or until the prawns are cooked and the base is crisp.
