Get the kids in the kitchen to make lemon and sugar crepes in just a few easy steps!
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 medium lemons, halved
Method
- Step 1Whisk milk, oil and egg together in a jug. Place flour in a bowl. Make a well in centre. Add milk mixture. Whisk until smooth. Cover. Stand for 30 minutes.
- Step 2Melt butter in a 20cm (base), non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup mixture into pan. Swirl to cover base. Cook for 1 minute or until light golden. Turn. Cook for 1 minute. Transfer to a plate. Cover to keep warm. Repeat with remaining mixture to make 8 crepes.
- Step 3Sprinkle crepes with sugar. Squeeze over lemon. Serve.
