Give frozen peas a chance in this magnificent side!
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 20g butter
- 1 small brown onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/4 cup pure cream
Method
- Step 1Cook peas in a saucepan of boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes or until tender. Drain.
- Step 2Melt butter in same pan over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until softened. Return peas to pan. Add cream. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until heated through.
- Step 3Process until almost smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
