Baked beans are a good source of protein. They taste delicious in these very cheesy rolls!
Ingredients
- 4 White bread Rolls
- 1 x 220g can baked beans in barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons frozen peas
- 25g (1/4 cup) coarsely grated cheddar
Method
- Step 1Preheat oven to 180°C. Use a small serrated knife to remove the tops from rolls, leaving a 1cm-wide border around the edges (do not cut all the way through). Combine baked beans in and peas in a small bowl. Spoon the bean mixture into the bread rolls. Place on a baking tray. Top with cheddar. Bake for 10 minutes or until crisp and golden.
