These sweet grilled peaches are a quick and easy dessert after the summer barbecue.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 8 peaches, halved, stones removed
- olive oil cooking spray
- lemon sorbet, to serve
Method
- Step 1Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Step 2Place peach halves, cut-side up, onto a plate. Sprinkle with sugar mixture. Stand for 5 minutes.
- Step 3Preheat a chargrill or barbecue grill on medium-high heat. Lightly spray with oil. Cook peaches, cut-side down, for 5 minutes, or until charred.Serve immediately with sorbet.
