Swear an oat of allegiance to this easy-to-make, versatile breakfast muesli.
Ingredients
- 5 cups traditional rolled oats
- 1/2 cup processed bran
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup sultanas
- 1/2 cup dried apricots, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup dried apple, finely chopped
- Milk, to serve
- Fruit, to serve
- Honey, to serve
Method
- Step 1Place oats, bran, sunflower seeds, almonds, sultanas, apricots and apple in an airtight container. Stir to combine.
- Step 2Serve with milk, fruit and honey.
- Vegetarian
Notes
Variation: For a gluten-free version, replace oats and bran with 5 1/2 cups rice flakes.
